1. Shipping & Delivery

1.1 Delivery Areas
We supply and deliver goods across the United Kingdom. Delivery outside the UK may be possible by prior arrangement.

1.2 Delivery Times

  • Standard delivery is usually [1–3 working days] from order confirmation, subject to stock availability.

  • Delivery times are estimates only. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, transport issues, adverse weather, or other factors outside our control.

1.3 Delivery Charges
Delivery charges will be confirmed at the point of order. Free or discounted delivery may be available subject to order value or account terms.

1.4 Risk & Title

  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to your premises or nominated carrier.

  • Title (ownership) remains with Prep-It Ltd until full payment has been received.

2. Inspection of Goods

2.1 You must inspect all deliveries on arrival.
2.2 Any shortages, damages, or incorrect items must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt.
2.3 Claims made outside this period may not be accepted.

3. Returns

3.1 Defective or Incorrect Goods

  • If goods are supplied damaged, defective, or not in accordance with specification, we will, at our discretion, replace or refund the affected items.

  • Claims must be notified in writing within 7 days of delivery.

3.2 Unwanted Goods

  • Returns of non-faulty goods are accepted only at our discretion and must be agreed in writing in advance.

  • Returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging, and suitable for resale.

  • A handling or restocking charge (typically 15–25% of invoice value) may apply.

  • Carriage costs for returns of non-faulty goods are the responsibility of the customer.

3.3 Exclusions
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Custom-ordered or specially sourced products.

  • Goods that have been opened, used, or not kept in saleable condition.

  • Perishable or time-sensitive consumables.

4. Refunds & Credits

4.1 Approved refunds will be made by credit note or via the original payment method.
4.2 Refunds are normally processed within 14 days of the returned goods being received and inspected.

5. Health & Safety

5.1 Some of our consumables may require special storage or handling under health and safety legislation (e.g. COSHH).
5.2 It is your responsibility to ensure safe storage, handling, and use of all products in line with manufacturer guidance and site regulations.
5.3 We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from misuse or unsafe handling of goods.
